Marching Forward

It's been a while now since Patrick or I have written. The plague of mono took over our household and it's taken us a while to get back on our feet. Fortunately, Patrick had it when he was 15 and Josiah is too little to carry it - so I'm the only one falling asleep in the middle of sentences. Patrick has been extra busy, though - being both dad, mom, and caregiver to mom... you can give him a high five for his awesomeness when you see him. I'm getting well again just in time, though! This weekend I get to celebrate 24 years of life with some "girls only time" and then next week we head down to CA to rejoice with our friend Julie as she gets married!! This week Patrick and I finished the third season of LOST. We had started watching from the beginning after my surgery to help pass the recovery time. Recovery has ended up being much longer than anticipated.... so we're hoping and praying that the end of LOST for now means the end of illness for now as well. Because geez - what else will we do if we get sick. :)
