Time to start a new leaf collection.

Last night Josiah and I had so much fun. The last couple weeks have been pretty rough on the kid. There was some teething and this really bad cold that still lingers a bit in his chest. He would transfer from "happy and sweet Josiah" to "really really really angry Josiah" and back with no warning at all. I think it's been exhausting for all three of us.... so that's why last night was so fun. He appears to finally be feeling better and is now a crawling machine. We chased each other all over the house and he laughed and laughed and I laughed and laughed - gosh I love this job. Through Josiah's days of sorrow I learned the two things able to calm him are reading a book (if he can turn the pages) and going outside. We would dash out between rain showers and play under the tree where the ground wasn't too wet. He is totally our kid!

This week is midterms for PW and we have a funeral to attend for his grandpa. :( It'll be a rough week so if you think of us, please pray! I'm also looking into finally leaving Starbucks for something that would allow me to work with Josiah (nannying, preschool work...). There are a couple opportunities in the works - so I'll keep you updated!
